About The Course

A curriculum vitae, or professional resume, is a marketing document that seeks to demonstrate a candidate’s potential and suitability for a job. As such, it requires deliberate effort and consciousness to prepare, especially if it is designated for a World Bank-funded or donor-funded project.

This course is therefore intended to equip participants with the key concepts, resourcefulness, competencies, and technical abilities to develop a CV  or professional resume in line with World Bank standards and for applications directed towards World Bank Funding Projects.

The Course is designed for World Bank Funded Project Directors and Senior Project Managers, Project Directors, HR Directors, Practicing Consultants, Directors in Public Sector Organizations, Not-for-Profit-Making Directors and Executive Management, and Private Business Executives.

What Will You Learn?

By the end of the Course, the Participant should be able to:

1. Develop a Career Profile well-situated within the context of World Bank’s standards.

2. Convert existing job descriptions and responsibilities into enhanced Career Accomplishment Statements in line with World Bank standards.

3. Prepare a Statement of Interest (SOI) and align it to World Bank Funded Project Requirements.

4. Develop a complete CV or Professional Resume for a World Bank Funded Project, placing emphasis on relevant and related skills, key accomplishments, and suitable qualifications
